I cannot for the life of me get templates that are created within the Pods setup to show up as an option under the Pods Page settings. I’m trying to wildcard /* a page for the detail information and I follow these directions step by step http://mondaybynoon.com/20100104/pulling-pods-data/ and the part about selecting the page teamplate (90% of the way down the page)

That Page Template selector never has any templates that are created in the Pods application (i’ve tried cycling, refreshing, alternative browser). The only way for me to get a template to show up in there is to actually create a php file with the text pasted from the pods template in the theme content folder.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The page template drop-down for Pods pages only lists WordPress template files.

The tutorial shows this in the section “Setting up our Team member template”. You’ll note that the file created has the line “Template Name: Team – Member” in a comment at the top, which tells WordPress that the file is a theme template file.
