    Hi. I’ve read through all the PODS documentation, but haven’t looked at the source yet. How hard would it be to point PODS at a database other than the default WP database? Are there dependencies on WP db calls or structures?

    For anyone else with a similar question : I looked at the 2.0 beta code for all of 20 minutes, but it doesn’t look trivial. The PODS data class (PodsData) db access methods are based on their wpdb counterparts. It looks like there are also numerous references to wpdb data (which makes sense). So… it looks hard from a brief look.
