Question on starting now with 1.xx

    I would like to start using PODS on a new project. I’m wondering if I should start now with 1.xx or wait for what sounds like a few months for 2.0 (or maybe a pretty short time for 2.0 beta). If I start with 1.xx now, will I be able to easily migrate to 2.0? Or will it be a pain to do so? Will I be missing anything important by doing this direction?

    I’m perfectly comfortable installing 1.14.2 for new sites (and have been). It has been stable for me and does its job.

    A migration wizard will be incorporated into 2.x and Scott said at WordCamp SF that they’ll be testing the migrate scripts with over a million rows. I’ll leave any details about this to Scott, but I’m not personally too concerned about migrating to 2.x later if/when needed.
