Hello,
Nice work with Pods 2.0. However I have an issue with the pod page not displaying
any of my theme’s page templates in the ‘Page Template’ drop down box! Thus I
cannot select the template for my pod and the pods are displyed live on blank templates.
I am using ‘Ultimatum Theme’ framework.I noticed however on a fresh install with the default Twenty Ten theme, the page templates
are displayed ok.Is this an issue with my theme or some plugins or Pods 2.0 itself?
Please help as I am trying to use this on a live site. If needed I can provide
more details on my WP config. Thanks in anticipation,
DavidOctober 14, 2012 at 12:03 pm #171914If you changed themes and it worked, it definitely sounds like something in your theme. Are the theme’s templates available from the drop-down when you edit regular WP pages?
October 14, 2012 at 12:05 pm #171915Also, if you suspect plugins, you might try disabling other plugins to see if it resolves. If so, re-enable them one at a time to see which one might be the culprit.
October 14, 2012 at 12:17 pm #171916Thanks for your reply P.G Lewis,
Yes the theme’s templates are available from the drop-down when regular WP pages are edited.
I’ll try disabling the other plugins to see. Will report backThanks
October 14, 2012 at 2:04 pm #171918Tried disabling all plugins except Pods, no luck.
Think must be the theme. Is there anything I can look for in the theme files, where
Pods hook on to display templates in installed themes?
ThanksOctober 15, 2012 at 7:20 pm #171929Your theme may be doing some special hooks for the page template drop-down in the page editor.
We use get_page_templates() to get the list of the page templates available for a theme. Unfortunately, without access to the theme’s files, we’re unable to help any further. You can either have the developer contact us for integration, or we can take a look at your theme files if you’re able to provide them for integration purposes only. contact@podsframework.org

Thanks Scott.October 18, 2012 at 1:35 pm #172010Hello,
Sent the theme files. Any luck with the integration?
I have also informed the developers. Thanks
October 19, 2012 at 12:35 am #172034Got the files. I’m still looking into possible integration. I apologize this isn’t going faster, we have a lot on our plate to get Pods 2.1 out the door on time.
October 19, 2012 at 6:36 am #172044Okay I understand, no pressure.
Thanks
February 10, 2013 at 8:16 am #173719Hi!
We are experiencing the same behaviour with a freshly bought theme (Skybox http://themeforest.net/item/skybox-responsive-multipurpose-html-template/3525321).
Did any of you get any further with this problem on your theme? Any hint to tweek the theme in order to get this feat working?
Thank a lot and congrats for the nice job with Pods 2!!!
David
