I had posted this yesterday but I think it was lost when the beta forum design was consolidated into the old forum (unless its a bug!)

I love the new forums and assuming thats its running on pods was wondering if it would be released as a package soon. I am specifically interested in getting a peek at the tags functionality and the thumbs voting system. Oh and the preview is awesome too!

Hey guys,

This Q&A system is a custom web app, currently separate from Pods. There’s a bunch of improvements we’d like to make to Pods before this can get ported over and packaged up.

The community is growing, and Scott and I are having a harder time keeping up with meeting everyone’s support needs. We needed a better system for fostering community involvement, and a reputation system that recognizes great participation.

It was inspired by StackOverflow. It’s (very) loosely based on Qwench, and some of the design elements were borrowed from the (open-source) OSQA project.
